ABSTRACT

A special challenge that scientists and engineer have in front of them in the beginning of this 21st century related to their important but hidden role in the level of the society is described and analysed. Several examples from everyday life with perceptions in the society, media, politics etc. are given and the ways to go forward in the right directions are suggested. This paper contains some extracts from the book “Silent Stars of Society” by the same author that is in print and will be available soon.
